How long does treatment take?

Most cases complete in 6–18 months. Simple aesthetic cases can be much quicker; complex bite cases take longer. We'll give you a realistic timeline at consultation.

Will they affect my speech?

There's usually a day or two of adjustment with a very mild lisp on certain sounds. It settles quickly as your tongue adapts.

What if I don't wear them enough?

Treatment will slow or stall. Aligners only work if worn 20–22 hours a day — they're not a casual treatment, but they're convenient once it becomes habit.

Do I need retainers forever?

Yes — like all orthodontic treatment. We include both bonded wires and clear retainers in your plan to keep your smile straight long term.

What is Clear Aligners?

Clear aligners are a sequence of nearly invisible, custom-made trays that move your teeth gradually into the ideal position. You wear each set for 1–2 weeks, swap to the next, and your teeth move a fraction of a millimetre at a time.

They're removable for eating, brushing and big events — and unlike fixed braces there's nothing to scratch your cheeks or get food stuck in.
