What counts as a dental emergency?

Severe pain, bleeding that won't stop, facial swelling, a knocked-out adult tooth, or a major break to a front tooth are all emergencies. Lost crowns and broken dentures we'll see as soon as we can.

What should I do for a knocked-out tooth?

Hold the tooth by the crown (not the root), gently rinse with milk if dirty, and try to slot it back into the socket. If that's not possible, store it in milk and call us immediately.

How much does an emergency appointment cost?

Our emergency appointment fee is fixed and includes examination and pain relief. Any further treatment is quoted in writing before we proceed.

Do I need to be a registered patient?

No — we welcome new patients in pain. You can register at the appointment if you'd like to stay with us afterwards.
